Well kept and clean. It’s near the time zone transition so our phones had different times. We were unaware of how close we were to the EST zone and were very confused haha.

Oh my gosh amazing beach! Worth the ferry over just for the beach. Rocks are amazing! So smooth! The forest begs you to come in and play! As a beach connoisseur...I can't emphasize enough...don't miss this one!

First of all this whole island was beautiful! I really loved this beach. The water was clean looking and the rocks really looked good when taking photos. The beach was really scenic and very clean looking. Would totally recommend coming here you will have a great time! 👍

Dogs are not allowed on the beach. In a boat or off the beach in the trees is okay. People do bend the rules, but they are definitely not allowed on the beach itself.
There's not a place on the beach but there are multiple motels on the island that would all be close-ish to this beach. I haven't stayed at any of them, so I'm refraining from making a suggestion.

There is no fee at Washington island. Beautiful place to visit.
You can rent out bikes and electric bikes for pretty cheap so you don't HAVE to bring your car. Its bout 20 min on bike. Alot alot more fun!!
you can park right at waters edge at schoolhouse beach(after you take ferry to island)
