Wonderful experience. And yes, experience, not just a quick visit to pick out a book. I was talking about a couple things i wanted to work with my daughter and they were so helpful to find some fun books for us. I also met a wonderful lady with a beautiful daughter that kept mine busy while I finished looking for my books. Wouldn't have had such a delightful experience ordering online and saved money in the process. I appreciate having our library close by.

My favorite place ever.

I enjoy the downtown branch of the library. The librarians and aides are quite helpful. This library has a lot to offer .

Yes, you can, at the circulation desk of any branch--just ask for a "purchase request" form. No guarantees that your request will be added to the collection, but if we can't get it, we can try to get it through Interlibrary Loan.
From our website, sumtercountylibrary.org: "Overdue materials, with the exception of DVDs, are subject to fines at the rate of 15¢ per day per item from the due date. "DVDs are subject to fines at the rate of $1.00 per day. "A maximum fine of $5.00 is charged for returned overdue items with the exception of periodicals and paperbacks for which a maximum of $1.00 is charged. "No cardholder with overdue fines either: (a) in excess of $10.00 or (b) over 90 days old will be allowed to check out materials until their account is cleared." Hope this helps!
You sure can, Ms. Morris! You can even request books from the main library, South Sumter, or the Bookmobile to be sent to Wesmark for you to pick up, if that is more convenient for you. Check with a staff member at any location to learn how to place and pick up holds. Enjoy!
Hi there--it costs 15 cents per page to print black and white, and 50 cents per page for color.
The downtown Main library does have a copier that can print color. The cost is 50 cents per page.
