Angry and frustrated! We will never use Blantons again. Paid $10,000 for new HVAC system 2.5 years ago. Outside fan now needs replacement. Quoted $818 to install a part that is under warranty. OBSCENE PRICING!!! Service manager refuses to return my calls. Another company has quoted me $200 less and that's including me paying for the new fan motor, install will take less than 1 hour. Also, service technician from Blantons says "you need a surge protector on the inside unit". We say "we paid Blantons for surge protection during the install". We never got the surge protection on the attic unit like we paid for.

Buyer beware. The technicians charged $400+ dollars to install a light fixture I'd previously purchased. Job literally took less than 10 minutes and they used my ladder to do the job. They also A/C system. Nothing difficult but the cost far exceeded what would have been charged by reputable companies. WILL NOT USE THEM EVER AGAIN.

HVAC is short for heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
The evaporator coil may freeze due to restricted air flow or lack of sufficient refrigerant.
Yes! You wouldn't let your car go on without replacing the oil or checking odd noises, and your home comfort system should be no different. It's like a machine with a motor, electrical components and even fuel.
This could be the result of an insufficient duct design. The popping occurs when there's more airflow than your ductwork can manage.
Small noises are common in your heating and cooling equipment due to factors such as age and insulation.
