We were just at Mi Hacienda Paintsville on Monday 6/20/22 my husband and I. Both of us just thought at best, it was just OK! I probably would have gave it 2.5 of 5 stars, if that would have been possible! We were with our 6 year old grand-daughter eating off their lunch time menu. We have a 34 year anniversary this week, so was kinda of treating ourselves. We read reviews of all 3 Mexican restaurants listed in town. We paid $29.05 not including the tip we paid. I had chicken fajitas, which I always tend to eat, that way I can easily compare to prior Mexican eat outs! My chicken was too brown (over-cooked), when it came to the table. I immediately pulled it off the fajita skillet, and put it onto my plate, so that it would not continue to cook any further. My husband had a seafood taco salad, it was served in a big taco shell, like that taco bell used prior for their taco salads. His shell was way too brown in color. It too was over cooked! We are not from around here, but in town for church camp meeting services this week. We can say it's something we would not want to repeat! If this is due to a new cook, I would say definitely needs more practice, or it's not working out! May try the Tres Hermanos before leaving town this week, just to see how it stacks up to this one!
