The hotel was lobby was out dated. The staff was amazing. They were super nice. Their breakfast buffet is delicious. I loved the hotel location. You are in walking distance from a mini Bourbon Street. The river is walking distance too.

This hotel should be closed. It is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. The only good this that I can say is that the ladies at the front desk were very pleasant and did their best to accommodate us. The hotel should inform potential guess before booking that the elevators do not work.. the place is nasty. The carpets are filthy and the entire hotel smells of mold and mildew. Our first two room were dusty and I have two daughters with allergies that have been sneezing, and nose itching every since we stepped foot into the dirty rooms. The bathtubs had rust in them and was not safe to stand in the tub to shower. Around the toilets was residue from urine and dirt which had never been clean. After complaining we were given two other rooms in which one room the A/C didn’t work. The other room was clammy and damp. One of the bathrooms had feces left in the toilet which meant that the room had not been cleaned. The linen on the beds kept a dampness which creeped us out. We had to purchase our own face towels because the front desk kept saying that they were washing. Therefore, we went and purchased our own towels and cleansers to clean the toilets and tubs. The A/C units in both of our rooms vents were full of dead bugs. Don’t waste your money. Very disappointed. And I must not forget to mention, we dressed and left for a funeral and upon returning my grandson’s $125 gym shoes were stolen. The only explanation that I have been given is that the Manager reviewed the cameras and could see that the housekeeper went in with her cleaning cart but didn’t see any shoes. Such a liar... first of all... no one cleaned our rooms the entire time I was there from Friday through Sunday except me with my own supplies.

The web site make this look very nice but true fact it wasn't quick what I expected. My room was supposed to be a smoking room it wasn't, the air didn't really work had to keep getting up to adjust it so it can say cool in the room. Kids running up and down the hallway all hours of the night, elevator didn't work our room was on the 3rd floor and we both got bad knees and a bad back. The breakfast was supposed to be for the guest but the staff was eating up everything. I will never come back here again nor will I recommend a friend to come here really sad. I came to visit family that live really close to the hotel that's why I picked it. trying to park was a mess . Lesson learn smh

I could not get a full set of towel for the guest in the room was told had to get them after they were washed. The only reason they get a star is because the staff was great to the whole family in town for a funeral. I don't fault the staff for the lack of necessities that the ownership provide for them to do their job. Truly southern hospitality.
