My mother had surgery from him. She has been in and out of the hospital 4 times in 2 weeks. He doesn't return calls. Only spoke to his usless nurse Dawn. I have home health nurses and PT professionals asking the before and after results. I can't answer because this DR. Won't return many calls, going to let insurance company know. St. VINCENTS IS AT FAULT AS WELL,! YOU BOTH LET MY FAMILY DOWN AND SHOULD BE ASHAMED

I started out with a Dr. Eric Nottmeier who is (sadly) now back at Mayo Clinic. I was seen for two years covering two separate fusions. One always seems to lead to a second. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the medical care provided and the absolute highest of skills and professionalism. The front desk staff are always pleasant and warm. The surgery scheduler who may no longer be there was less than stellar. I recently had a third procedure that was performed by Dr. Stephen Parker (spinal cord stimulator). He was equal to Dr. Nottmeier in every way and everything went extremely well. His surgical assistant, resident? Intern? Michael was crazy amazing! I have never in my life met anyone with such a kind, attentive, gently and understanding “bedside” manner. I highly recommend this practice for any neurosurgery needs.

I've been a nurse for 28 years and so I have been around a lot of doctors, some are better than others. But as a patient I have also had the unfortunate need for a LOT of surgeries including multiple neck fusions that failed prior to finally getting to see Dr. Stephen Pirris.
