The view is amazing but due to the ongoing construction it's a bit messy for those with nice cars. Interested to see where the new one will be located.

As you make your way towards the area you’re going to second guess if you’re going the right way. It’s going to feel like you don’t belong on that road. Stay confident and make your way all the way down the road! You’ll see a left turn with a sign for the place and it’s a decent size gravel parking lot with benches right on the grass. Super fun place to bring the kids or self reflect! Bring some music, snacks, and hang out! Loved it! More than enough planes took off as we sat there. We were there for about 25 mins or so just to check it out and we saw at least 12 plans leave. It’s beautiful! Check it out.

Possibly although they are closing all roads around the airport when he is in transit.
The best time will vary. When I go, I try to see the sunset around 5:30 - 8PM.
They lock the gates at closing time but there is camping about 2 miles away at Fieldridge campground 7800 Wilkinson Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28214. I've never stayed there but is had a decent rating on Google.

So in about an hour, They take off every 10-20 Minutes. So I'm going to say around 10-25.
Really anytime during the day but as previously stated, after noon time is busy. Try the flight radar app, shows you the active flights, destinations and more and helps you see where they are although the flights turn on their transponder close to take off.

Yes, when the 4th parallel runway is constructed, this site will go away. However, the airport will be building a new overlook.
If your are going to the overlook to watch them take off, all day. If you are referring to your actual flight, 2 hours ahead of time is recommended.
