A good location for a lot of different stores to choose from and easy access and no waiting

Despite living in Saint Albans, I had to stop at the Riverwalk Kroger's in order to find some of the groceries that I regularly buy for my family. This and most other Kroger's in the surrounding areas, is always well stocked and rarely out of anything. Saint Albans Kroger's is the most poorly stocked store that I have ever seen. If I didn't know better, I would think they are going out of business or they didn't get the news that the pandemic is over. There needs to be some major changes in the management of this store, it is especially difficult for those who can't make it to other Kroger's to simply feed their families.

Riverwalk Plaza is a nice little strip mall, with small individual stores and a few restaurants, Which all have different hours. Also located here, is A Krispy Kreme, Burger King, Subway, a very good Chinese Buffet, and a very good Mexican restaurant..

Love the plaza love grazianos and dollar tree carnival eats was high priced in my opinion and we waited over 15 mins for a funnel cake. The store wasn’t busy and I over heard the lady answer the phone and tell a customer they were extremely busy. Frm what I could see they were not.

Built to provide crucial housing for workers at the new U.S. Naval Ordnance Plant when it began construction in 1917, Armor Park was designed as a self-sufficient township, complete with its own school (run by the U.S. Navy), recreation center, pool, and sports fields. The U.S. government also paved nearby roads and purchased additional trolley cars to cut commuting time into Charleston across the river. Workers lived within walking distance of the Ordnance Plant as it churned out naval weapons around the clock during World War II. For decades, Armor Park (and its sister development, Bungalow Park) helped spur the growth of South Charleston until it was demolished for the Riverwalk Plaza Mall and other economic projects. Nothing remains of the site today, but a short walk reveals its relationship to the Ordnance Plant (which still stands) and the development of South Charleston's identity.
