Fun little adventure! I had been wanting to do the kayaking and walking tour for several years. The kayaking team were very friendly and great at keeping an eye on all paddlers. The walking tour was just the right amount of time.

the sunset ride was beautiful and the two guides took very good care of the six kayakers. All the kayaks were waiting for us and we had a chance to ride in one of the cleanest parts of the Hudson and then turned left into a peaceful little green tributary where we saw egrets, hawks and cormorants. I like the little waves on the Hudson there was a wind coming back which made the going slower than heading out but I felt very well cared for. Thanks for a great evening!

A great excursion with knowledgeable kayack and Bannerman Island guides. It was a fun few hours learning about the history of the island and castle. Went with my husband and we both enjoyed it.

Hi Michelle! While recommended, water shoes are not required. Please wear shoes that you don't mind getting wet, preferably closed toe. Hope this helped!
Yes we have the option to either take a single or a 2-seater kayak! We have a brand new fleet of 2-seaters kayaks ready to be taken out on adventures! Check out our website and when you chose to make a reservation, it gives you the option to choose. :)

Yes. That's what my family and I did. No instruction. We had a guide who was very laid back and hung back throughout the tour. He asked us what we wanted before we started. He told us about the wildlife and the area in the beginning of the tour. Then he let us explore and enjoy the ride. It was a very nice tour.
