not as much water as i was hoping for but i’ve heard it’s way better after there’s been some rain. there’s also a lot of fun places around the falls to explore. BTW does anyone know if there is any rules against camping with friends near that area

Beautiful and a nice easy walk but very steep. I'm 40 years old and my kids are 12 so it was easy for us but I could see some older people struggling or young kids. Be careful where you walk is slippery on the path and obviously if you go in the waterfall it's very slippery.

Very pretty and fun experience, make sure to go on a nice day. There’s so much more fun stuff to do around the area but this is definitely the prettiest place. Would recommend to go if you need a quick escape from reality. Soak up the sun and the atmosphere.

Beautiful area. Easy to hike down to the fall on a paved trail with handrails. Must have good knees if ya want to traverse the sides of the hills closer to the river :) Steeper climb on the way back up to the parking lot.

Yes, dogs are more than welcome
It never technically closes, but I wouldn't go there in the dark, just too dangerous
The closest thing to fishing here would be walking downstream a few hundred yards, and it dumps into the Duck River.
Not enough space to actually camp but there are plenty of places where you can camp near by.
Yes
Yes. The trail starts near the parking. Once you park, you'll see a pavillion. Behind the pavillion is a trail. The trail leading to Jackson Falls goes to the right. It's a short hike and the entire path is paved.
Depending on what the weather has been like recently, it can be a little slippery. There are seasonal waterfalls along the way that typically go under the walking path, but after lots of rain, may go over as well. There are steps where the path is steepest, but it is still a bit of a workout navigating the rises and declines. I wouldn't recommend if you have bad knees or weak ankles unless you are comfortable taking it slow going down and back up. That being said, the view is pretty impressive year round, even when the falls are at a trickle.
What are u asking? They have a lot of parking. Dont know about staying over night or for a period of time.
About normal, maybe a little less, was there last week.Best time to go is after a good rain.I love it there.
Contact the park ranger service in that area. They are so nice and super helpful. They patrol the area everyday so they would know for certain.
