A hike out to the water! Very doable with kids or elderly. Boardwalks over some of the wet parts, but a well maintained trail. Plenty of cool sights. No parking fee :)

This beautiful nature hike takes 25 minutes from the parking lot to the lake water. In dry times, the waterfall is a trickle. Walk, hike, or jog along a river gorge to cliffs overlooking the lake. Bikes are not allowed. The trail is clean and maintained well. Signs, stepping areas, and small bridges make for easy use by all ages. Tip: the parking lot is small and signs indicate vehicles will be ticketed on the road, so show up early or plan to wait for a spot to open. Most people visiting don’t stay more than one hour, so parking becomes available regularly.

Absolutely beautiful little hike down to Lake Superior! Very well maintained and gorgeous views. Parking lot is small so get there early if you want a spot to park.

Easy hike that leads to a cliff diving spot. New trails being made and would recommend for any beginners.
