It is so sad - the swap shop at the Truro Transfer Station used to be so amazing - for both picking/donating, and for taking pictures. Since they cleaned up the place, it doesn't inspire - at least for me - any kind of urge to document any of it. Likewise, it is not easy to leave anything there at all - in addition to the newly established rules, it is rarely if ever actually open, even during posted hours - which were greatly reduced pre-Covid, and now there seems to always be a "Closed Until Further Notice" sign on the door forever. I wonder if it will ever be open, and why did they bother to replace the building if it was going to be perpetually shuttered. Again - very sad.

Property owners or residents can get a 7 day, 1 month, 6 month, or 1 year permit for the transfer station. A 1 month permit is $50 and a 6 month permit is $55, so if you need a 2 consecutive month permit, it's cheaper to get the 6 month permit. The Town of Truro website has a link to the transfer station fee schedule.
