“Peachtree we’re trying to get home immediately care” My buddy dislocated his collarbone while biking. We get there at 7:15. They close at 8. Empty lobby. Great! They can see us ASAP. Walk in: “Hey, can we do an x-ray? He hurt his shoulder pretty bad.” Girl behind the counter: “We’re not taking anymore walk ins.” “We just need an x-ray. He’s hurt pretty bad, can you please have the nurse take a look?” “We’re not taking anymore walk ins.” “Well can you at least ask the medical person on staff if they will do an x-ray?” “We’re not taking anymore walk ins.” The conversation goes on like this for about 5 minutes. She continues to repeat the same response no matter what I ask or say. If it wasn’t so infuriating, and my friend wasn’t in so much pain, it would be hilarious. We called “Here to Help urgent care.” They’re open till 10PM. A human immediately answered the phone. No phone tree or anything. They don’t file insurance for you, but wow are they great. Absolutely worth it. Plus, they’re a local business and not some chain that exists solely to increase the share price somewhere.
