How do I apply for section-8
Yes
I had heard they were having phone issues . I have found that emailing them I get a response faster . If you have the person email you are trying to contact I suggest trying to contact them that way .Also from my understanding a lot of them are still working remotely from home .

You have to go to Gloucester county board of social services and apply...housing authority does not assist with that.
Not sure but it was open in February

By calling Crystal at the front desk.people are commenting on here their asking ppl to see where their at on the housing list.that's up to you to check.call or stop in there & ask.
Hi, Its important you realize, this is not Housing Authority, this is a place on google and for your security and safety, you should not put personal information here. This is a public site and your information is seen by anyone. You should call your housing ofice directly. Goodluck.
Hi, in relation to the question how do I apply for home ownership: Well I'm not really sure as to how the question is presented. But, if a person does not have a Section 8 voucher then I think that the process will probably be to First apply for a Section 8 voucher and any open list and may be available in the area desired. If the person has a Section 8 voucher depending on what kind of a voucher it is what state and municipality or County you maybe in the circumstances might be different or may vary. In the case that the person has a Section 8 voucher, the Housing Authority would be the probably the best way to find out what the regulation rules and processes in reference to home ownership. But just as a point of reference usually a person would have to have section 8 voucher for a year and then be able to change it or request a choice voucher. With the choice voucher the options may be very different than just a regular Section 8 voucher. The best thing to do is to call Section 8.

Hi, I don't know, but if shee is already on the list, just make sure she is active on the list. Always respond in person or in writing and keep a date puched stamped copy for your records. You know, it might be a good idea to stop by and inquire of her particular status on the list. If she she is able, maybe it would be good if she went along so they know its with her permision, remember; privacy laws are part of guidelines they go by. Its not personal, its privacy protection. If not, make sure you have a letter from her authorizing you to inquire about her status on the list. Always ask if there is anything you can do to help to show the need she has. Just remember that a "hi, good morning or good afyernoon" at the beginning of the conversation helps to prepare a more calm and pleasant mood during the conversation. In person is best. I have found them in Gloucester to be very sincere and respectful. They have a large case load, so their time is limitted. Best of luck.
Well, as of April 1, 2018 somethings have changed. I'll see if there is more information on that and post again.
