So I have decided to loc my hair, but because I know nothing about locs I definitely wanted to go somewhere that was very reputable for this type of service. I did some research weeks prior to actually getting this done. I found H.O.L online and they had very positive reviews and also as my own confirmation I had 3 patients come in my office that all said they go to H.O.L as well. Neva was my loctechian and right off the back she made me feel so excited about this new move for me. Her energy and vibes was so amazing that the nervousness and anxiety I had subsided completely. Neva is absolutely amazing and did a stunning job. I'm late with my review, but it's been 2 weeks now and I'm still getting tons of compliments. So because my hair is already kinda long, she started me off with 2-strand twists and I will see her in a few more weeks to do the actual loc process. To Neva, many thanks 🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗

I went for a retwist and style. I loved the gel they used, it was light and didn’t flake on my hair. The retwist was done fast and looked great, but the style not so much. I just wanted two barrel rolls but they were done lopsided. They tied in string at the bottom to hold it but they still came loose within two days. (I tie my hair down every night and don’t touch it unless I’m spraying oil) By the third day I had locks hanging out and had to take the rolls down. I called to try and get them redone but they were too busy to squeeze me in. Not super happy about that but I like the salon enough to give them another try. Photos are what I wanted vs what I got.
