Lost my newborns social security card when I first had her and if I had known I would have to wait 4 months to get a replacement (note could be longer as i STILL don’t have it) and deal with such rude employees every time I can call I would have cherished that thing. I had to get an extension on my taxes because they don’t know how to tell you the proper info you need to get the replacement. How hard is it to print a small piece of paper???? like come on. I have never had an experience like this where I can talk to 4 different people within a couple months and they all be absolutely horrible and rude for no reason.

I was nervous about coming here based off of all the recent negative reviews. I must have come at the perfect time, my wait time was very short and the process maybe took only 5 mins for a name change so I was in and out! The person who helped me at the window was very pleasant. No appointment necessary. BTW this was around 11am.

How do how do I get an appointment to get my social security card
Give them a call.
I have a appointment on Friday is it by phone are do I come to the office
Go to your local social security office take a copy of your marriage certificate birth certificate and the death certificate set down with one of the social security people and talk to them and they will help you.
It's no charge. Just bring proof of i.d. ( check the main site).
6 months prior to your birthday.
How can get a cop my award letter y of
If you cannot get your answer online there is a phone number on the door that is answered locally.
Yes your son can receive a check but you have to have proof in order for them to process you claim. My son has an IEP at his school which helped him get his check every month. He has a therapist also inside his school to help with his disabilities.
You can make appointment. But it will be a lot quicker if you walk in . Last time I left a message requesting appointment, they never called me back about it
No.
No
I went yesterday to get a replacement and didn’t have one!
9am to 4pm
Inside the 1st door that you enter on the right. It's gray and had envelopes for you to put your forms in on top of it.
You will have to contact social security for that. There's no known website
No, when you call the office, it will give that message at the beginning of the recording. My experience is if that's what they say on the phone, that's what it is.
You need to call them . They are not open. Look on the internet for the number. My wife is on disability and we couldn't even get in to prove we got married.
It depends on how old the child if the is still in school or how much back pay is old. They can do that.
Definitely call and speak to an agent. I found out first hand that they won't let you in without an appointment when I went down there. And good luck when u speak with an agent. They are very rude.
They are not allowing anyone in. You have to call.
It's not open, but there's a number on the door that you can call.
Yes
Yes
Depends on what you are doing. Usually, it's 2 forms of government issued ID and a couple of pieces of mail addressed to you is usually what they want. But sometimes a DL is good enough. Call them or go to the website.
Excellent question, l have also been trying g to get one, following!
You can use you google for cude lane.
Not eno
You're screwed; my sister and I lived together until her death in 2015. I was told unless I was her minor child I would not qualify for her death benefit ($250) or anything else, even though I was dependent on her check to pay the bills.
Yes if they are income based
Go to the social security office in person
My daughter applied and is suppose to have already received a approval or denial letter. The wait on the phone is an hour
It depends on who earned more on their work credits. Did both of you work?
