The Valdosta store only carries male hamsters, Guinea pigs, and mice/rats. Other Petsmart locations carry female hamsters, etc., but I think the closest is either in Tallahassee or Jacksonville.

I know that Banfield, the pet hospital inside a lot of PerSmarts, charge approx. $18 for cats nails, maybe close to same for a dog. You could ask them to teach you how to do it, so you avoid cutting the "quick' that bleeds. It would be worth paying them to do it, especially if they teach you how to do it, as dogs with nails that are too long can be in pain while walking, and it can even cause infection if nail curves and grows into skin. Also, it is one thing that's not covered under our pet's health plan at Banfield, like most everything else is for a very low monthly price.

I know the Lowndes animal shelter has resources.

PETSMART does not offer that service. You have to go to a veterinarian.

I assume you are meaning a "poodle" and I would suggest adopting one from a shelter over buying one. Check with PetSmart and see when their next adoption event is being held.
