Employees were all nice. Clean, recently updated, hot shower, great air conditioning, comfy bed. Great value for the price!

The clerk was not happy that we were here. Complained that expedia booked us when they shouldn't have. Guys leaning over the balcony smoking weed. Kinda intimidating. The rooms tolerable. Burn holes in the bedspread & the air conditioning doesn't work. Grateful the windows opened.

Positive: Like cation, price. Negative: Staff rude, vending machines broken, room smelled like heavy marijuana usage had occurred, or a skunk sprayed the walls. Could not get anyon to the door on checkout date, so I stuck the key through the locked lobby door. Ithe bed was ok, room clean

Disgusting. Only hotel in area that was available for a last minute stop along an 8 hour drive. Should have just kept going to Asheville but it was raining so hard and was around 11pm. Room was FILTHY. There were stains all over bed sheets, blankets and bedskirts. Cigarette burns everywhere. Furniture was apparently not even wiped off after last customers...dirt and crumbs all over them. Gross looking stains on walls WAY OVERPRICED for such a dump. Woman at front desk was very unfriendly and seemed bothered to check us in. I had a AAA card. Asked if they honored them, she said "No. You're already getting a discounted price". But yet, there were AAA plaques hanging on the wall boasting their Silver AAA status. If $178 is discounted, I'd hate to see what full price is.
