Not sure HOW MANY times this question needs to be answered so I'll just say YES, THE SATURDAY AFTER GOOD FRIDAY this year (April 21st) before Easter, it will be going on... I'm not sure what people don't understand about 'rain or shine, year round' doesn't mean.. Ffs, I understand most of these questions are coming from snowbirds where Sh1t gets canceled from blizzards, ice storms or pisspoor planning... The ONLY way ANY drum circle is canceled is due to MANDITORY evacuation for a HURRICANE, and even then people will still show up to have a 'hurricane party'. So please, stop asking stupid questions answered in the 'about me' section of google or their Facebook pages... U that lazy, don't come. Please...!

I'm visiting from Texas and was told I had to check out the drum circle at Nokomis and it was so worth it! They start setting up around 3pm just right of the "main, entrance" of the beach and start playing around 5pm. It's a lot of fun and family friendly, just bring a chair with you to sit in and enjoy!
I'm a Nokomis Drum Circle regular for a few years. Nobody cares what kind of drum you bring! I've actually seen people playing buckets before. Feel free to join all the drum circle pages on Facebook, too!
Officially 4:20-get it? But in reality, they begin to slowly assemble and start about 6. The thing about the circle is it's relaxed, do your own thing vibe, so go with that attitude.
In addition to drum circle on sundays at venice beach - there is usually some music under the pavilion Sunday evenings - sometimes a one man band or a quartet of locals.

Dogs are not allowed on the beach anytime at nokomis drum circle or VENICE beach drum circle. But you might want to check out Browhard Park Dog Beach - it’s about a 3 minute drive south of Venice Beach. Dogs are allowed to run and swim off leash.
