I am old enough to remember Full Service Gas Stations. Looking back, they did so much more than fill the tank. Mind you, gas was $.50 cents a gallon. For fifty cents my Gramsy would get her tires, oil, wiper fluid, and air filter checked. The windows would be cleaned too; but it is that little something else... the human factor which Alexa, Google, and other very helpful AI will never duplicate. Stopped by today to tell the City of Hinesville something you most likely already know: Mrs. Darlene Ignaszewski - Senior Deputy Court Clerk, is a diamond in the rough! After exchanging emails, Mrs. Darlene reached out to me in Virginia with her assistance in helping to remedy a difficult situation. In a time when our Public Servants are under fire for all they do not do, let us take a moment to recognize the contribution this wonderful woman makes daily to the residents of the beautiful state of GA. You are kind, knowledgeable, professional, non-judgmental, empathetic, encouraging, and a beacon of light shining brightly helping folks like me to navigate their way. The woman that answers the municipal court phone is VERY unprofessional & rude. They do not care to help or hear about your situation. If you pay your traffic violation, and live out of state you’re still guilty & THEY WILL suspend your license & make you pay more. What’s the point of paying the fine if your license is going to get suspended either way? “Hire an attorney.” What about the people who can’t afford an attorney because the court TOOK everything they had and more? 10/10 DON’T RECOMMEND
