In reply to D.Perez: This park seems safe. Many Wedding parties use it for photographs. That being said, unfortunately violence and mentally Ill people exist, and things happen all over the world. But, Historically this is a non "crime spree" place if that's what you are asking. There are wooded areas and open areas, and a play area, besides parking lots. You are Much more likely to spot wildlife like deer, raccoons, and birds than to trip over a homicide, I promise.

Yeah, Boothe Park is pretty big. Great place to take photos. It also includes a playground for kids. Also a great spot for those who play Pokemon Go.
