What a selection! Give yourself adequate time to browse all 3 floors. Bring a drink and dive in!

Inaccessible to physically disabled customers. Elevator only goes to the basement which is where the stationary and art stuff is located, however basement is too cramped to safely navigate with a wheelchair. The top floor with the anime and manga is completely inaccessible to physically disabled shoppers. Shopped here a lot before acquiring my disability. I would like to continue shopping here but I cannot any longer. Accessibility is more than being able to get through the front door.

Do they sell Hana To Yume (花とゆめ) magazines? If they do, are they usually the most recent ones?

Yes they do, however they also add in a sheet of natakan paper that requires you to accept the nala premise and promise not to send back a subscription card. With many of the issus you get a free notebag that has a punchy logo and flavor pack.
Good question. IF I AM NOT MISTAKEN, the prices are the same in-store as those on the website from what I noticed. You can always call the store directly to ask as I have done in the past. Do hope this answer helps!
Yes, we have magazine. However each store has different inventories so may I ask you to contact with our NY store directly? If we have magazine in Japan store, we can also order for you. Thank you for understanding!
It depends on what you are looking for. Like the mask it cost around mid USD$80s and up and some like the anime figures can also range about there or in the several $100s or more
Is the stationary store planning to get more block stamps? I am interested in getting different types to indicate the type of mail I am sending to Japan.

Thank you for the suggestion... But... I am a Kinokuniya patron and your answer is not helpful in terms of the business. I apologize.
Also, if you cannot tell, the way how I spelt that word was due to autocorrect. Your comment is very unbecoming of you, whoever you are. Please refrain. Thank you very much for your time!
Is the store kid friendly and do u have to come with a parent if underage?

Yes, they do. They sell many different foods upstairs, where the cafe is located. To get to the basement level, when you first walk into the store, turn to your left. There's a flight of stairs that lead down. Or alternatively, if you walk further down theres an elevator that goes down. But it doesn't go back up. Good luck!

They should have it. You can find there almost every manga that is already translated.
does this store sell Zebra sarasa pens?!?!?

I know they have supplies like pens downstairs in the basement, as for that specific brand I'm not sure
How would I find the location of a book or item that is only in Japanese? If I ask the staff for help, would I try to say the Japanese title or show them the title written in Japanese, etc.?
They have both Yaoi and Yuri, but I'm not sure if they have just plain hetero R18 manga. I've never tried buying from them either, but I would assume it's the same as any other place that sells adult content.
They have many books (fiction, non fiction, biographical, history, art, science, arts and crafts, culture, manga, etc) you're gonna have to be more specific about what you're looking for.
Do you have "the absolutely true diary of a part time Indian" by Sherman Alexie?

Hi Sebastian
Thank you for your message!
May I ask you to call or email to your local store? Inventory situation might change so each store manager knows more. Thank you so much for your patient!
Do they sell anime magazines like Pash! and B’s Log?

They had a TON of anime magazines upstairs, both Japanese and English. I don't know anime much but I can't imagine they wouldn't have them if they are noteworthy.
They also have some interesting NY related posters on the main level as well as some related to types of beer, types of cameras, etc. Upstairs is Anime related and I think the wall scrolls are on the basement level.
The pricing for manga is standard, don't recall exactly but they offer both English and Japanese language manga. They do sell art, posters, books, figurines, DVDs and all other sorts of related items. Most of the manga is located upstairs.
