Our wedding was always going to be unconventional and Housing Works was the absolute perfect venue for what we wanted. We had about 135 attendees (invited 160) and did a cocktail style dinner. Tomasz was extremely accommodating to our many requests, flexible to our needs and responsive throughout the process. The staff was amazing -- you truly can't beat the location, service or ambiance for the venue price PLUS your venue fees go to a wonderful mission and cause.

It's a very sweet place. They don't let you sit at the table if you don't buy anything from the cafe. The coffees were definitely not good, but the place was very sweet and very nice for studying.

There are no books worth buying more than I thought... It's just a good place to take pictures.

June, 2018 - they just told me no real restrictions w type of books, but no encyclopedias, dictionaries, old computer books, textbooks. Also, they accept donations up to an hour before closing (9p). Go to front door.
Yes. But, they don't have any power sockets. So you are limited by the laptop's battery.

Probably, but you never know what they'll have. Books are donated. That's why it's always worth checking out.
You can definitely call them ahead before you drop off. I believe stationeries are always handy so, I dont see why not. Good luck
No but I was there a week ago and they said they were hoping to open it back up soon like in the next month.
Hi, we are open Columbus day. Hours are usually updated on Google location listings, and you can also check our website for store hours and holiday closings for each of our stores at https://www.housingworks.org/businesses#thrift-shops
Unfortunately not - our books listed on Amazon are only available online, not for purchase in the store. Sorry!
Hi, yes!
For full guidelines on what we accept, click here: https://www.housingworks.org/donate/bookstore-donations
I've only visited to read and relax so I'm not sure. Maybe Google and call them
Yes!
No
I don't read books, sorry. 😂
Thank you but no we do not!
Yes you can take them to any thrift store location!
Do you have a book call drop the ball
We do if they are in good condition with all the pieces, and you can also donate them to the Thrift store which is on the same street as us!
Hi Beverly. We have an online sales department that sells through Amazon and Abe Books, and an eBay store, but the stock in these is different from the physical store.
You should contact the store directly, they probably don't check this page
You'd be better off calling them directly.
10am- 8pm weekdays 10am -4pm weekends
All the books there are donated by publishers and regular, everyday people - so as a result, housing works doesn't have an inventory of all the books in the store
