It was good - not excellent. Our suite room wasn’t what was pictured online and I was disappointed. Our internet was spotty and didn’t work at all the last morning. The last morning we also had no tv and no hot breakfast. The room was not cheap - and I asked for some discount at checkout. I was told a manager would call me back but of course no one called back. I do need to say the staff were all very nice but, of course there was no call back from the manager so there was no followup with what they said would happen.

Stayed here for over two weeks and let me tell ya Marty made my stay as homie as possible. Amazing customer service, very professional, and an honest man. I had a wonderful experience at the Holiday Inn. Every staff member I encountered, from the the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to everyone passing through. Trula was outstanding too (thank you for your patience and all the towels).

We went to Pikeville for a concert. The hotel overall was very outdated. The bed was very clean which I was happy about. The faucet in the bathtub came off when turning the shower on and there was rust in the tub and on the shower-head. The corners in the bathroom had not been cleaned out so there was hair and dirt. One of the outlets had a short in it so I had to use a different one to charge my phone. The TV was also outdated (not a smart tv, only cable). Our key didn't work half the time because of the outdated locks. My fiance' had to go get another key because we couldn't get the door open. A housekeeper saw me and she let me in my room when she saw me waiting outside the door. The staff was very nice and helpful. Considering the area this was the best option we had but the price was high for it to be so outdated.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The bathroom had a clogged sink, rusted out fixtures, literal holes in the bathtub that have been patched (?!??), and broken tiles that wobble when you walk on them. Train just across the river blows its horn all night. In the morning, guest room doors slam continuously like small bombs going off. This is such a shame, as this area needs quality accommodations. I can't believe this hotel is allowed to hold the Holiday Inn name.
