I had a really good stay here. It's a gorgeous property, more like an actual Hotel with a capital H as opposed to the usual Hampton. Seems brand new and centrally located in downtown Pikeville. Everything is clean and spacious and gorgeous. Special shout out to Heather and Isaac who helped me get the perfect room after a few false starts (I'm very picky about sound and noise and they worked really hard to accommodate me despite its being a sold out night). This hotel is like a balm in Gilead in that particular area since there are hardly any name-brand motels or hotels down there. I didn't use the pool or the gym. Breakfast seemed really good but I am not a morning eater. However the coffee was excellent which is unusual in any hotel or motel. If you can snag a suite at the end of the hallway with a mountain view, do so. Live a little. I only gave the property a 4 stars instead of 5 because of the weird humming cycling noise I was experiencing in my first room on the top floor. I don't know if it was an A/C unit or what but I had to move. But if you're not that sensitive you should be fine. All in all, a great stay, the usual super comfy Hampton beds and again, everything new and beautiful.

Positive: The Hampton Inn Hotels are consistently good. Negative: The staff accused us of fraud. I had two rooms with my elderly parents that needed assistance. We asked for extra towels and lotion and the staff accused us of having too many people in our rooms. Terrible customer service.
