If I could give this place zero stars I would. I live in BLDG 1. I tried to survive with fans due to the lack of A/C. My apartment thermostat would read, at times, 92 degrees. The hallways smell. The carpet is old and needs to be replaced. Not as much due to damage but due to the fact that it has an odor. I had someone stealing packages from me. The cameras are on the building but they DO NOT RECORD. So they want you to feel secure but refuse to utilize a security system that works. Oh and also your apartment is right next door to the projects. So the comment about it being quiet is a lie. I live here because I am military and it is close to base. If I had to do it again I would leave this place and never return. I have lived in San Diego, San Antonio, and San Bernardino California. This is the worst apartment style living I have ever been in. This place will continue to be a place for Retired people and young adults just trying to get by with the absolutely outrageous renting/leasing prices of Newport Rhode Island. I will do whatever it takes to avoid living in Newport ever again.
