Hi everyone .My 26 yr old son has been in remission for 3 years ..A tumor on spine will be removed feb 17 th .....Do people go into remission if cancer spreads and returns a second time?

I have found great information from reading in publications for people who are not trained in medicine. Check into what might be available from hospitals that specialize in the kind of health challenge your son is living with like Dana Farber, Harvard School of Medicine etc. Things are changing so fast these days. Something that couldn't have happened a year ago might now be possible.
