I really like the therapist who has been providing speech services to my child since July. The therapist always suggests activities I can do at home with my child, and she's also very nice and professional. On the other hand, the office needs some work with professionalism. I sent numerous emails and never got a response. If the office knows they will be closed for the holidays and the therapist will not be working, can they at least inform the parents? Why do I have to call the therapist and ask if the office will be open or closed on certain holidays? In addition, at other therapy offices my child attended in the past, parents were given a calendar showing the days the office would be closed, and in addition, they would send out emails about closing and inform me if my child's therapist would be absent and if I wanted my child to see another therapist.
