This is a horrific place. I would advise people to NOT put any loved one here. The place smells like urine. Patients are ignored. If you try to call a patient on the phone, you have to call the Nursing Station. They might not pick up and if they do, most will not go get the patient to speak on the phone. It appears that they are warehousing people. I have tried to voice my concerns while being there and by phone. Voicing them there was to no avail. If you call to check on your relative, you get a voice mail and nobody ever calls back. I am trying to get my relative out. This is a terrible place. My relative was at another nursing home and was doing well. Since being at Arch Care St. Vincent De Paul, this relative has deteriorated. There is neglect from an uncaring staff . It seems to me that they have overmedicated my relative who seems to be in a complete daze. Other patients also appear to be in a similar daze. One wonders if they are overmedicated, could it be to keep them docile?

This Nursing home is terrible. The rooms are not cleaned well and bathrooms reek of urine. I saw the food they serve and it looks like mushy slop. Nurses do not pay attention to residents except to give out meds. Residents look like zombies which could be because of over medicating them. People are not clean, nobody to encourage them. Nurses do not want to bother asking a resident to come to the phone. They do not seem care if they just sit there. Calling to express concern is either denied by staff, and more than often they will not return phone calls if you leave a message. I want to take my relative out but I don't know how to do it. It's a horrific place. Please don't put your relatives or friends here. Another person told me that they have bed bugs and rodents. I have not seen that but considering how dirty it is, I would not be surprised.

St Vincent DePaul Nursing Home is an amazing facility with a very caring, and kind staff. From the second I walked into the building I felt a sense of team work and commitment. Everyone I met from security, nursing staff, aides, housekeeping to building maintenance, we’re all helpful and caring. . The building is spotless, the food looked delicious. I would highly recommend taking a tour of the facility, if you have a family member or friend that needs rehab or long term care. A top notch facility! Thank you

I was hired at the bx location in the summer of 2021. After a long hiring process I finally began my floor orientation. On my 1st day I began giving a patient a bed bath and as I looked down on the floor I saw a bedbug! Then I continued to finish and found another 1 in her bed. I reported this to the person working with me and it was as if I said nothing. As the day went on I took my break and saw several mice in the breakroom. Besides there being a serious rodent problem these girl's have to assemble the breakfast and lunch trays...the lunch room does not do this. Most places I have worked for has the trays already made. I mean the tickets all come in a rubber band and they have to place 1 on each tray and from the ticket read and place all the food items according to what the ppr says. They place the silverware cups...they actually build the tray...so basically the kitchen only cooks! Too much work! All while leaving your regular duties 1 hour earlier to build trays. I gave 2 stars because the staff were ok. Consider this review when choosing to work there.i left after 2 weeks. I couldn't take it.

I don't know if you can, its a rehabilitation place. My dad went there thru the VA hospital for rehab when he fell. They just considered making him a resident because he is not doing better.
