My grandmother was a patient at Morningside receiving inpatient physical therapy for her knee. She was a fall risk and was left unsupervised. My grandmother had a terrible fall resulting in two broken ribs, dislocated shoulder and a huge black and blue lump on her forehead, swollen eye due to the lack of employees at this facility, they are very well understaffed. It is not our responsibility but the facilities to make sure they have enough staffing to care for an equal and logical number of patients. This will avoid future accidents with the residents at Morningside nursing home. I regret the day my grandmother stepped foot at this facility. My grandmother is still in the hospital a week later trying to recover.
