We employed Right at Home to care for my parents three afternoons per week. From beginning to end they were a wonderful agency to deal with. They carefully chose a caregiver who would work well with my parents' needs, and they were correct. The service that they give is terrific in terms of essentially 24 hour availability, easy to get information and to make changes in the days/times of service, sending the invoices directly to the insurance company, having an option for one caregiver for two people, etc. I would highly recommend using this agency for arranging care for elderly people at their home.

Your employee, Marcia Bloise came to work in my home as a caregiver for my husband, Alan Tanzer from May 2016 until January 2017. To say that Ms. Bloise was a godsend is an understatement at best; she was thoroughly professional, kind and compassionate while dealing with my husband who was irritable, angry and depressed as a result of constant pain and discomfort. Whenever Ms. Bloise was in our home, her positive energy made an incredibly difficult and sad time just a bit easier…not just for Alan, but for me as well. I have thanked Marcia for all she did; I know that there were times when she went that extra mile for Alan and for that I will always be grateful. You are fortunate to have such a wonderful, gracious person employed your agency.

Yes. We do our best to take the guesswork out of matching the right caregiver with you and your family by using our proprietary screening and selection system. We encourage your involvement in the decision-making process. Your satisfaction is important so we try to accommodate requests for a change in caregivers, as allowed by law.
The key difference between a caretaker and a caregiver is that a caregiver is someone who looks after a person who needs care and support, both physically and emotionally, whereas a caretaker typically refers to a person who is in charge of the maintenance of a building or estate, or someone who temporarily performs the duties of an office. A caregiver is a relatively newer term than caretaker, and is a person who provides direct care for children, the elderly, those who are disabled or chronically ill, or others who need assistance.
