In the 5 months Ive been here, My experience with this clinic so far has been good. Some people may be shallow and think they're above this clinic in terms of the people attending it (people of color and lower socioeconomic status) and general aesthetics. To be fair and speak on behalf of rhe clinic, this clinic does not discriminate against its choice in clients and along with that has a very relaxing atmosphere. I never felt like I was dealing with Authoritarians figures that enjoyed ruining other peoples day, rather just humble people doing a service for the community of people needing help. I enjoyed my interactions with the staff. It has decent counselors, nurse practictioners, doctors, and staff on board that tend to be accomadating and work with you, so long as you're not trying to game the system with any ulterior motives. As this is a private clinic, they will accept most insurances (I have Medicaid provided by Healthfirst) and accept cash payments. *My only warning for people who barely get to your appointments on time is to make sure they prioritize getting to the clinic on time because once the clock strikes the moment that it's closed, it's done. That's fair to the people operating it.* Otherwise I just want to throw in last that this clinic is very awesome. No regrets about attending here.

Been here for many many years. And I'm okay with it. Friendly and helpful staff. Nurses are kind and everyone understanding. Sometimes a crowd at certain times of day. It's too a no smoking facility. Ox.

Questions & Answers

How much does the daily dose cost?

It depends. If you have medical coverage, you either don't pay or pay very little. I'm not sure how much someone pays if they have no coverage or coverage that doesn't help with this.

Do u go straight there for help

Sadokitty | Sep 29, 2021

You can but they won't help you right away. It's a process. Usually you go from detox to here. If you go straight here, they check your medical coverage to see if they cover it & make you do a blood and urine test at another location that isn't far. You have to wait a few days for the results.

I know some clinics don't allow 2 people who are in a relationship together to go to the same program. Does anyone know if this clinic allows this?

They don't care.

Does anyone know if this clinic will take someone if they don't have proper paperwork? Meaning, not having their real documents. They only photocopies of their birth certificate & social security card. They have proper ID & Insurance.

Can I start the same day Mom this

Tom Noble | Sep 30, 2019
Sadokitty | Sep 29, 2021

Nope. The only way you start right away is if you transfered from a detox center.

Tracy greco | Sep 30, 2019
Sadokitty | Sep 29, 2021

No. They make you go to another location for blood work & urine & then wait for results. Takes several days. The location isn't far. About 15 minutes away, walking.

Do you get dosed the same day?

Gina Mingione | Sep 30, 2018
Shy Cat | Sep 30, 2018

If you're a new patient you need to get blood/urine done and see the clinics Dr before you will be dosed. So you probably within 2 days get your first dose which, based on your info, will start at 30 or 40 mg.
