Thomas T is spot on with his review! I experienced this first hand! Not too happy about all the unnecessary, untrue and unjustifiable trouble this woman caused in my life! She’s like a predator in the hallways of this church waiting to stalk her next victim! She also sends very inappropriate texts to people in order to control them! Her behavior and being is similar to the ape in the lion skin, “Shift”, in the Chronicles of Narnia! A family was divided before it even got started! It’s now an absolute “TRAIN WRECK” and will never be united due to the condemnation, slander and gossip leaking off of this woman’s lips and supposedly other leaders of this church! I challenged many at the top to come forward so I could speak to them with no reply! Thx a lot! All the “gossip” about me is based on misinformation who’s origin came from people who aren’t well and bear little fruit in their lives! A wise person would never take the word of such a person! A “Godly” person would NEVER spread such gossip like wildfire and ruin another persons reputation! “When a Toxic person can no longer control you, they will try to control how others see you. The misinformation will feel unfair, but stay above it. , trusting that others will eventually see the TRUTH , just like you did! Amen! Titus 3:9-11 warns us about such people!!! When will it end only God knows! I can only hope and pray it ends soon before another person gets hurt! Say a prayer for the pretender!👱🏻‍♀️ I am very grateful all this happened because it lead me to an amazing church in Springfield, NJ, Renassaince Church, where the lead pastor is a brilliant speaker with a heart of gold and his wife is a pastor also. The associate pastor could lead in most churches! The leadership and worship team is like nothing I have ever seen! It’s stellar! There’s no politics or condemnation here, just the love of Jesus!

Edit: Don’t apply to their school. It’s not caring or inclusive. They deny children with IEPs and will not honor their promises. I’m appalled that the same church I attend that professes a caring atmosphere runs a school that’s callus and indifferent. And yes I did try reaching out to them in an effort to rectify the situation and my phone calls and emails went unanswered. —- I find it particularly suspect and egregious people are using this review forum to call out the pastors wife on a platform where she can’t defend herself. This is not only despicable but unbiblical as we’re often told to approach our brothers in love first. We should remove the plank from our own eye and then we’ll be more equipped to help our brother. As for the church we’ve been attending for years, and while I don’t particularly know pastor Lloyds wife, I have always found this church to be a source of comfort and a solid rock among the sinking sand in this nation. If your interested in being part of a community that is both spiritually and politically motivated by the heart of god, this is a great place to be involved. But understand when you’re over the target you’re likely to be attacked.

It is very disheartening to read all these reviews from a place I attended for 7 years, I gave my tithes and offerings and payed for my child to attend school there. Everything that is being expressed in other people’s reviews are very much true. I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Karen directly. Karen only reached out when it suited her. I went through a lengthy divorce with an abusive ex husband and found solace at Calvary . I dedicated my time and heart to participating in volunteer work and supporting the Hanna program. A situation occurred in my own personal life in which Karen interjected herself without Consulting me or asking to talk. Karen tried talking down to me multiple times , told me I’m a bad mother and insulted my character without even knowing the truth. To say I was appalled and disappointed is and understatement. I appropriately took this to an elder of the church and he was upset but not surprised as this was not the first occurrence of this behavior . I’m not going to share this here , but I still have the text messages from these parties. I never asked for this type of treatment from a church. It’s very discouraging to read that this behavior still occurs. I am thankful that I did go through this because it led me back to the Catholic Church where I can see things differently. I forgive Karen but I continue to pray for her and for Calvary so no one else has to go through what I was out through.

Gary L. I have to agree with you 100%. Karen did the same thing with text messages and manipulation. When this was brought to the attention of one of the elders, he said, quote “ oh geez, this is not the first time she has done this” He brought this to Lyods attention immediately, then magically, down the road Lyod said this was the first he was hearing of this . granted this is his wife and he has to defend her, which is understandable, but this behavior isn’t very nice. The problem is this was brought to the attention of the church quietly, yet they tried to deny it. I can only say and hope we keep these people in prayer and hope this type of nonsense stops . No one is perfect but also no one should be made to feel a certain way or be manipulated.
