if there were a Zero rating, i would give this shop an even lesser rate. the manager is rude, unhelpful and just plain mean and nasty. the prices are extremely high, and what isn't priced the manager guesses at a price. she quoted me $25 for a pair of jeans that i then found the same pair on the rack in a different size for $5, She did the same thing with a different item i found. Shop retail or on ebay--you'll at least know you're not being taken advantage of. finally, every retailer in the city and in the world that offers racks of clothing offers a bathroom for customers. i wanted to shop further but was told the facilities were for employees only. This is a travesty. i left because i needed to use a bathroom. i bought a couple of things, but i assure you there are too many great second-hand stores in NYC to ever subject myself to this manager again. i remember pre-covid when a couple of girlfriends and i would make a beeline for this store every Saturday and buy all kinds of great finds. Now the choices are not good and not in good shape. This manager needs a manager! none of us will be back This business may be dependent of donors, but it is as dependent on customers--she needs to realize this and get an attitude adjustment. THUMBS DOWN!!!

A big CD and record buyer. The prices are cheaper than other thrift stores. But my three stars are that some CDs put for sale are missing CDs. I am not sure if the sellers(hope not) or others buyers rip off the CDs. Still a good find for other stuff

Really great for house decor, accent pieces and maybe even the shoes if you’re lucky. Other than that the clothing selection isn’t the largest but they do have some quality pieces here.

You can donate any housewares that are in good shape..no junk or broken
I went last Thursday. There wasn't a lot of people. The ones that I observed had mask on.
I've never seen any there. But always worth a call.
Make sure to read for the ticket is New York city you know that
You can get a receipt for donations for tax purposes. I always call ahead before bringing stuff in.
I suggest call ahead to the specific shop and get their hours to accept donations.
I use the store on Broadway between 96th and 97th Streets but I think any of the stores will take men's clothes.
Please call them directly for this type of question. Inventory moves quickly.
They take donations all day, everyday. Busiest times are on the weekends, especially Sundays. Try going a couple hours after they open.
