I have been donating quality merchandise here for years, not for the tax write off which I don't need. The staff person taking donations Sat 9/17/2022 at 4pm was rude, lazy, unfriendly and completely unhelpful to the people donating there. He is a very poor representation of the SA...or perhaps this is what this organization actually produces. As people are lugging donations in, he's out across the street and in front of the donation entrance smoking cigarettes. One guy asked for a receipt and he nastily responded " you do that yourself". Really? Is that SA policy? I'm sure the IRS would love that. He went on to complain about his job...(standing around smoking cigarettes?) The fact that I have encountered this person for at least 3-4 years and was met with the same unfriendly and rude demeanor a number of times....ALSO SHOWS THERE IS NO ADMINISTRATIVE OVERSIGHT AT THIS LOCATION...SA Headquarters really needs to step in and get this dirty store in order.

I believe they except all books but before you donate to salvation army try to see if your local school can use them in their liabary they don't get much money to replace books in the schools book system.
