I am a donor of The Salvation Army and I am appalled at the money invested in this building . I found out it is not used for living quarters for the people for whom The Salvation Army works with. I called and was informed the building is a church. If is a church I think this organization lost its soul. We don’t need a fancy place to worship God. The reason why I chose this organization was because the CEO did not have a large salary and claimed most of the money went to the programs. I am beginning to change my mind.

The person who answered the phone was informative about present changes due to pandemic/ they're no longer accepting clothes donations at HIS location 137th Lennox Ave. He stayed on the phone with me unrushed n offered alternatives. Pleasant employee!!!
