This campground is in a fantastic location on the shore of Lake George. It’s relatively clean and the campsites are reasonably spaced. Amazing to wake up and go for a swim in the lake. Try to get a campsite on the lake side away from the main road. Showers did not have hot water while we were there but I’m still giving 5 stars as I plan on returning.

Nice campsite close to the city and reasonably priced. There is a lake, benches, fire pits, restrooms and showers.

You can bring your own, there are no rentals available.
Dogs are allowed. I dont know if they have a limit on how many but you need their rabies shot paperwork.
There are water faucets scattered around the sites. Electricity outlet in the bathroom.
You can visit their website and book online
Recommended but probably not required, getting cold and with less visitors
Some of the sites after huge. Review their map.
Most are c shaped brick wall fire places.
All reservations or application for campsite is done through Reserve America The ranger station at Huletts Landing may be able to answer your question...?
I would check reserveamerica.com website but I think season starts memorial weekend.
Not at all.
Local Stewart's convenience stores sell local firewood, wrapped and dry, about 6 miles into Lake George Village or 6 miles into Bolton Landing
It would be wise to bring your own grates for the grill, there is a steel contraption that is inside the firepit, but the slots are too wide to put stuff directly on top...
Unless you're lucky enough to rent out one of the very few actual RV sites ...we used our "house" tank
Only free on weekdays, Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday is $10/day Only free for seniors weekdays, Sat & Sun is a $10 day fee
The campground water? I wouldn't drink it. The lake water? It is the source water for the village and its minimally processed
I don't really know if that'd fit Heartstone, but Lake George RV Park would.
