A bad surgeon left me 3 years with sawing a screw into "the meat" .Thank G-d I found Dr. Max, he listened, and went into my back to fix a horrific problem that nobody would help with. He saved me!! I would recommend him to do a first surgery right, then to try to find some help after. Thank You Dr. And your staff.

I have seen Dr. Medary and staff for well over 12 years. This includes the office visits and 2 lower back surgeries. Many surgeons want to operate because that's what they do. Dr. Medary will operate only when the situation is warranted based on the xrays, MRI results, Radiology reports and what's going on with the patient. Both locations near Dr. Phillips and Lake Nona are wonderful. Just recently, Kelly (Lake Nona location) was very kind, spoke clearly and answered all of my questions before and after the visit. Kelly did an excellent job answering questions, checking patients in and out, getting paperwork set, just very impressive and all the time with a smile on her face! Very refreshing to receive this kind of treatment. Dr. Medary is very professional and no-nonsense. He doesn't "fluff" anything and give any false promises about what may or may not happen with potential surgery and thereafter. Neurology and being a brain and spine surgeon is super complicated most of it WAY over our heads. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment and put your faith with Dr. Medary. He's an Outstanding Neurosurgeon who will help your pain.

Dr. Max Medary is an incredible doctor and gifted surgeon. I had a spinal fusion in my lumbar region done in 2011 and it was remarkable. I had not been able to walk for a month due to spondolothesis of L4,L5 and S1. This is why in June 2022, I immediately contacted his office to repair Cervical vertebrae in my neck at C4,C5 and C6 to alleviate back and arm pain. When Humana Insurance refused to OK the surgery until they could be convinced I really needed it, Dr. M called them and arranged a meeting with the Humana staff to provide the information that allowed me to have surgery. He fights for his patients! His staff is top notch and his independent practice should be acknowledged for providing the best level of care available.

First appointment, promised me that my headaches would stop with HIM and that I was in great hands with him. He operated, I had complications and was comatose for 2 months, in hospice for 6 weeks. Discharged from hospice, started headaches again, went back to see him and was told by him, "I WASH my hands of you." TOO MUCH OF A DIVA!!
