Great place for lunch! Food tastes fresh and delicious. And, best of all, you don't leave there feeling heavy and weighed down. Wish there were more food options like this around Brighton.

Single handedly the best poke and customer service i’ve ever received. My boyfriend and I love to come here after work if we have a job in the area and it is the most amazing lunch to eat after a long day. Sushi tastes so fresh, and the options are great too. definitely recommend.

Price too high for a fast food atmosphere and such a small plastic bowl of veggies and tofu. Flavors we’re good. No diet soda. Disappointed as I loved the seared tuna poke bowl recently ordered from a restaurant in Ohio and I hoped to find something similar close to home. Would have loved to see a recycling bin for the plastic.

I went here for the first time ever today and the experience was wonderful! For one I'm a very shy person and the man behind the counter was so nice, very cheery and helpful! He talked me through how everything worked and gave me my food, …This is so great to hear! Thank you for your feedback. We’re so happy that you had a great experience with us and look forward to seeing you again soon :)

If you don't plan on eating your leftover poke right away, be sure to put it in refrigerator. The dish can stay fresh for up two days after preparation but tastes best when consumed on day of making .

Is all poke raw?

While poke is often raw, it doesn't have to be. Nowadays you can get Poke raw or cooked, and even cubed with meats and vegetables for added flavors! Fish and seafood are not the only ingredients that can be used to make poke. It's possible for those with different dietary restrictions or preferences, like vegetarianism or even an intolerance of gluten-free grains such as quinoa (which many people claim makes it more flavorful) will find a suitable solution in cooked shrimp, fish, meat or vegetables atop their bowl!

Is Poke Sushi?

Not exactly. Sushi originates from Japan and typically takes the form of little bite-sized rolls with rice involved; whereas the Hawaiian dish called "poke" is Served with either raw or cooked fish served over vegetables inside a bowl (or wrapped into seaweed). Poke bowls were invented by Polynesian cultures in Hawaii, but have since become popular all over the world. Poke is also popularly served raw in Japan but under a different name ("Sashimi"). So while both dishes are centered around raw seafood ,the Japanese version tends to be more methodical in its presentation, while the Hawaiian version is usually served as a deconstructed salad.

Is poke like ceviche?

What makes these dishes so different is their preparation. Latin American recipes are often accompanied by tangy citrus, fresh herbs and pepper while Asian cuisine commonly includes garlic or ginger in its heat. But what really sets them apart from one another? The key difference lies not just in flavor profile but also how they're prepared; poke has traditionally been influenced heavily towards flavors coming out of Asia while ceviche's roots lie with countries such as Peru which were once part of the Spanish Empire before being colonized by Portugal centuries ago!
