Wonderful facility and services. Very friendly staff. Only issue is you can’t make medical/dental appointments more than one day ahead of time and there are long phone waits to make such appointments; must be staffing related. Minus one star for this. Thanks for all you do!

Yes they do help you to get a non-driver ID. So who am I talking to?
I know for a FACT BFTC in SE definitely has a clothing room.
Good question: I can't comment about a bag full of food but I know you can get some food and they might be able to suggest a pantry for you to go to
I am not sure. But i am pretty sure they could point you to some place that can help u. They have clothing drive ,food,lawyers,etc....
Not sure about this year sister
😄
This bread for the city I think only has funds for DC residents I believe. Unless they change the policy I would suggest you call first

I think Tue and Thursday. Not really sure. Sorry if i was wrong
To get a turkey you must bring in your proof of address and income. If you receive TANF, SSI or etc bring that print out and you'll be good for a turkey. Otherwise you'll receive a regular food bag for the month. Giving out turkeys until the 21st of this month.
They are open 8 to 6..call to see what day recertification is on or go online
They do have a referral process that it's quite effective and finding a rental assistance for someone who's in need
No the legal help only persists of family law, housing law, and PUBLIC BENEFITS LAW.

Just give them a call and let them get your info you've already gave and your straight. Since you have been on it, you still are. That don't change.
They are not giving Turkeys this year at the SE location, I went last week and that's what they told me. You know a lot of places aren't giving Turkeys this year. Corona has messed up errythang
I really don't I dont work there
Your ID
They may have transferred the number over to that Center due to the fact of a short staff but I would suggest you try again
Walk In Register And Then They Wii Give You An Option
I believe they might make some exceptions you will need to call but in general you must drop them off
I believe is clothes and shoes kitchen utensils I never saw no furniture there I don't know if you can donate computer items or not but I do know for sure clothes and shoes
Sorry, to everyone's disbelief Bread for the City does not provide funding for IDs. Bread for the City only provide information two other places that gives vouchers for non-drivers ID. Your best bet is to check with the salvation army in Northwest.
I believe Marilyn has a burial fund I think you have to go to the Department of Human Resources in Maryland most Social Services but I don't believe they're going to do anything to help you because he was not from Washington DC sorry I hope everything go well my condolences to you and your
Proof of address birth certificate social security card
Have you tried to make a appointment with them for some help, not sure how much they can give you on the water bill but any help is better than none
Yes it is a food bank. They take food and clothing donations
You'll need proof of DC residence (lease, a bill, or something with your address), proof of income and proof of anyone your adding to your food profile. If you receive TANF, SNAP or SOCIAL SECURITY those 2018 documents will be all you'll need in most cases.
Yes
DC PHOTO ID, PROOF OF RESIDENCY, SS CARD FOR EACH MEMBER OF HOUSEHOLD & PROOF IN INCOME, BRING BIRTH CERTIFICATE'S JUST IN CASE!!!!!
Most likely they're not
Im really not sure.. but I'm pretty sure if you put a phone call into them they will be able to answer that question for you or at least direct you where you can receive those type of services
Bread for the City can diffently help you and your family they can also assist you with funds for back rent " Maximus379 ..
Always crowded. Nice clothes room. Need more legal aids lawyers. Food pantry is good. Need mental aid service.
Try Branch Ave Flea Market across from Naylor Rd metro station on a good weather Saturday theres a really good guy there who fixes computers, re- configures.....does updates, etc.... he's on upper level, clear to far right at far end of vender row...and/or if you know enough about computers to buy used you can find some really good deals. Most venders just get any computer they have from a storage sale, often whole systems but dont know systems and sell amazingly cheap lots of laptops with out perifials, etc...but great place to find extra cords, odd specialty wires etc...
No that's not Benning Road metro station and I'm not for sure if you can go get paperwork to receive a free ID from bread for the city
Call them and find out.
They give out listings for housing but they do not help you get placed.
Yes, you can get clothes everyday as long as they are open.
Never had to appeal! Have all of your Paperwork in order chronologically. Have doctor's diagnosis, scheduled and previous presedures paperwork!
