The American Red Cross offers promotions on a regular basis to encourage and reward donors. These vary by date and donation type. Recent items offered to donors include T-shirts, coffee, sweepstakes entries, and virtual $5 gift cards. Higher value items (ex. $15 gift card) may be available for frequent or more complicated donations like platelets or plasma. Can you get money for donating blood? In short, yes.
