Bonnie is awesome and I want Cheyenne to be my bestie, talk about an awesome personality! She was super informative and went above and beyond to try to help us find the right fit. We walked all around the facility and you can tell these people truly love animals and go above and beyond to keep the place clean. Honestly, it was cleaner than a lot of veterinarian offices I've seen. If you are looking for a new family member, this is the place to go.

We adopted our boy L'il Man there. They do a great service to our county.

It was a pleasure to visit. The Wakulla County Moose Lodge donated a truck load of pet food, and pet supplies.. It was a "Heart of the Community" project. They provide a vital service to our community. They Need Help!

I need a foster for my dog.
Yes and they are wonderful in trying to find the owners. If that doesn't happen they are also terrific at finding loving homes for them.
No specific breeds are hard to find in a shelter environment. You should reach out to a rescue if you are seeking a specific breed
Please call them at (850) 926-0902.

They are closed on Monday. They are not a "no kill" shelter, but they go to great lengths to try and find homes for their animals.
If it is sick and you need help animal control will help in any way I possible.
On Facebook they have a page called wakulla canine , or wakulla pets they show pictures
I dont believe so.
I fell in love with socks. Just the right size for our dog. She loves cats but not so much with dogs lol. I am talking to my husband about going to see her. He wjll be out today and i am praying i will have a wonderful present when he comes in the door 🤗
Call and ask. I know that they attempt to place as many animals as possible through different rescues if the animal is adoptable.
