We came to Dr. Hughes after our girl had first signs of trouble. She was diagnosed with parvo! We were really scared for we just got her and a big IF to if she would make it through. The Dr and Courtney were both friendly and helped us come up with a plan that suited both our Princess and budget. We took her home and after 3 days of caring for her our girl has made a complete 360. She's back to her active self and eating. I can't wait to get Princess back to get caught up on her needs! We are so thankful we had the right team! Thank you so much VCA WAKULLA!

This vet (Faith Hughes) and vet assistant I saw were so wonderful and so nice and smart, I really can’t say enough. I had a new puppy named Crayons that had symptoms that pretty much all the vets I spoke with in 2 different states had never seen before. It was a difficult situation for everyone. This brilliant lady (the vet with the southern accent) accurately discerned the situation immediately. I was clueless in retrospect. They were both super compassionate and honestly provided the best care they could have while ensuring to keep the other animals there safe. I just found out that her diagnosis was 100% right on even though no one had ever seen it before. These people are so kind and so brilliant and compassionate and incredible at their jobs at this little animal hospital in Crawfordville FL, I seldom write reviews but wanted to make sure I send them a shout out of honor.

I don't know the prices off the top of my head, but they do have a payment plan. It's a monthly membership fee that covers any procedures and exams you come in for that year, and there are benefits for being a member with them. I highly recommend you check it out. We did the puppy plan with the surgery to neuter him and were very happy with it.
Costs for medical procedures depends on the specific procedure, not the size of the dog; although ancillary costs for anesthesia, holding etc may vary by pet size.
You pay for the nights they spend there. If you drop them off on Monday and pick them up right before closing on Tuesday you are charged for one night.
