I am a veteran of 26 years in Navy, retired 3 years ago however calling on behalf of a fellow veteran who is terminally sick to get some info on standard procedures. The social worker who took my call was an atrocious. Unbelievable what Veterans have to deal with to get some help. That social worker has no business in VA system.

Too slow to need of medicine. Not available or not even trying getting medicine for VET, there's no communication on between hospital and pharmacy.

You can get your DD-214 from your local courthouse. Clerk of the Court. Same county where you lived whenever you went into the military.
I’m not sure about the VA. I got my first two here. Got my 3rd one yesterday from a local pharmacy. It was alot easier.
101miles, in current traffic it should take 1hr and 53 min
At the moment Kim, there is a so called hiring freeze. Actually they are only hiring 10 people at a time for the whole hospital and most of those positions are reserved for nursing staff. As a result, the shortages everywhere else are going unfilled.
Go to the help desk next to ER and they will direct you
Ask the AOD at the front desk. Benefits coordinator.
