I went to Van Dorn Pools in Reisterstown because I am ready to close my pool but the algae is out of control. The young man that helped me was awesome. He is very knowledgeable, he didn't attempt to sell me the whole store he only sold me what I needed, and he was such a gentleman he curried my purchase to my vehicle. Van Dorn you have a great one in that store. You are my go to now just because of the treatment I received today. Thank you sweetie, I'm sorry I didn't get your name.

Hello, yes we perform water testing at our stores! Please bring in a sample and we can take a look
When opening your pool, you will use 2 bags of shock. Usually 1 bag is good for 10,000 gallons except when opening and closing, it’s good for 5000 gallons. Use algaecide according to the bottle, but usually ½ bottle is ok – walk it around perimeter of the pool.
