Absolutely terrible customer service and store policy. Went in to purchase and xbox elite series 2 controller after seeing it on sale in their website. When I asked about it being on sale, I was told that Gamestop will not honor it. I was told that I can purchase it online for instore pick up and it would take 2 minutes and I could walk out. I purchased it for instore pick up with the help of the employee. I waited 40 minutes to be told that the employee does not know why it did not go through. I said I would be back when it is ready and walked out in frustration only to find out the order was cancelled. When I called to find out why, I was told they do not know and offered no further help as to why I waited 40 minutes in the store when I was reassured it it would only take 2 minutes. Furthermore, the employee offered no help to make sure that the sale went through while I was in the store. So instead of honoring the sale and taking my money, I went to Target to buy the exact same controller for the exact same sale price.
