Nice park, as a vet, I get in free. It has lots of parking, a playground, bbq pits, pavilions and a trail around the whole thing in a mostly wooded setting. There's a fishing pier , a small beach and a separate dog beach as well as a place for concerts and a wedding garden. We even saw a bog/pond with a big blue Egret. They have activities throughout the year.

Gorgeous park, gorgeous views. Doesn't get 5 stars bc you have to pay to get in, but apparently that's the norm in Maryland

Yes, you do unless you have the yearly pass, are disabled, or a veteran. Its $6 a car if I remember correctly.
I'm not sure exactly, but I tried to crab off that pier and a ranger told me that crabbing wasn't allowed off that pier and that I could be fined.

Hello, good afternoon, a question, they charge to go fishing and spend a little time with the family. Greetings from Maryland.
On the dog beach you can. Although it's small and often way over crowded. Me and my dog actually use the giant beach that is supposed to be for kayak launches. Hardly ever used. Theres also some large secluded fields you can run in.
6 bucks but if you plan to visit often a membership ($30-$40) could be more than worth it as it covers more than this park.
Kind of tough to crab from shore or a pier. I wouldn't recommend it there.
It's 6 bucks a vehicle
No swimming but the park is open 7 AM until 8 PM (closing time adjusts with sunset).
I think they charge per vehicle from $5 .
I believe most state parks close at dusk but with this being a county park, I am not entirely sure.
