We love this place. We have stayed in the cottages many times and launched our boat there as well. The owners are great and we appreciate their patriotism! The bait is always great quality and the bait shop is well stored with fishing supplies, sunglasses, drinks, snacks, ice and really nice coastal decor. It's fun to see what new items they have in.

They open 7am
The bait shop opens at 7. Whenever we go earlier than that, we launch and pay when we get back. Honor system. They never got mad, or told us not to. We have been going for 20 years and that hasn't changed. Since we net our own bait, so it's not an issue. You can always call and ask if you're worried about it.
Open at 7, but if you get there before that, you can launch and pay when you pull out. (Don't leave without paying because they know) We rarely buy bait because we throw a cast net and catch our own. After 7 you can buy it.
Yes, extremely accepting of pets. My puppies loved the boat.
