I currently live at one of their properties. (HPA) We have NOT had consistent HOT WATER in about 8 months now, with the last 2 months being the absolute worst. I have continuously inform management, and though they claim to have worked on things in the boiler room, NOTHING has resolved the problem. I even reached out to Habitat America and no one has gotten back with me. Hot water is essential to life, and living without it is uninhabitable. I also have several work orders that have been in since last year and yep you guess it, those and quite a few others have .completed. Habitat America does NOT care about their residents. I am fed up, and had to reach out to DCRA. Update: (Response to Habitat America’s reply) Though a part was supposed to have been put in last week, we here at Hubbard Place had no hot water most of yesterday 4-16-22, and ICE COLD HOT WATER today on Easter. We need a new boiler. Please stop with the paperwork, it’s NOT resolving the problem. The old model we have, the manufacturer no longer produces. I shall continue to fight for inhabitable living at this property.

This company is the worst apartment management company ever. They are barely here and when they are here, the office is closed. Barely no water or no hot water. Maintenance take days to come fix minor issues or don’t even fix them.

My client lives in Townes of Woodfield community .I thought management held this community to a standard but no. The property manager doesn't seem to have interest because if she did trash would not be everywhere , kids would not be in the streets in danger . Its basically like living in the projects trash everywhere and they've only been here 3 years. I know the home owners near are devastated because I would be. The property manager don't care because she doesn't live there. No one should have to live like this its unsanitary and despicable .

Unfortunately my sister leaves at one of their new communities called Townes of Woodfield. Don't get me wrong she loves the new townhomes. Its the community ,the trash is only picked up on Mondays. People in the community leave trash anywhere and everywhere , Oh not to mention the property was build in the woods so wild animals such as rats, raccoons, vultures and crows by the dozen stay at the exposed dumpsters. Its becoming a health issue . Basically it's like the projects in the making. The dumpsters are to little . If they don't correct the issue and hold people accountable the community will failed and become a dump.
