It's more than just a dump! Actually we have recycled at the north station for many years and have always been treated very.
big chungus
We’ve been using this transfer station on a regular basis for over ten years. You can still dump a pickup truck bed full of garbage for about $20, can’t beat it. The people in the booths at the scales are always super friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Easy access and exit. Always neat and tidy, very good signage makes it easy to get to the right area for your disposal needs. Go Tuesday through Thursday to avoid lines, but even busy days aren’t a problem as this place runs smoothly. Highly recommended.

Busy as always but well controlled. A more patient employee directing today than the grumpy pants of the past that always made me feel uncomfortable backing in my trailer. Amazing how someone being nice makes such a difference.

Recycling. Always helpful and nice no matter how cold or wet it is. Hours could be better. Most of us work the same hours they are open. I found the lady who said it was hot and muggy a hoot...it is a tranfer station, not the magic weather control. You can't blame the place for the weather. Climate complaints are not fair when rating a place.

Yes, but only passenger car/truck tires and only up to 6 per load. If you have semi tires or tractor tires, they will take them if they are cut in half.
Unfortunately, it goes in as garbage rate. They do, however, have an option to recycle flat screens.
Yes, if can't be reused.
Visit the website for recycling requirements: https://www.spokanecounty.org/2027/Recycling
Not sure, just call them. They always answer, when I call. I'm pretty sure they do.
You can just trash it all together
Yes we do. They are charged by the pound. If it is possible load your appliance on the front or very back of your load.
They don't offer anything like that.
Yes, minimum charge is 15$ for about 300 pounds, of waste.
Yes
The transfer station itself is run by the Spokane County, but operated by a company called Waste Connections. Neither of which, offers services to pick up refuse or yard waste from your home, that would be Waste Management or the City of Spokane, and you would want to contact them to find out why and/or to reschedule. Sorry for the inconvenience.
No, they are not open on Easter Sunday.
Yes
No charge.
Yes
Take your camera. They have picture boards with images of recyclables they take. Or call and ask.
Two years ago and hasn't been answered!
Recycling side
Not sure. Might be on weekends only hazardous waste
Yup.
